This game brings classical battle between human against zombie. Not directly, but human attack zombie by planting some plants. This plant must be preventing human house from zombie attack and avoid zombie eat human brain.
The good thing from this game is there are lot of choices games, beside Adventure mode there are Puzzle mode, Mini Games mode, and Survival mode. So when you feel you good in Adventure, you can do a lot more in other games. This game is also creative; just take a look at credits part. And also my favorite is the sound of zombie when eat plant, so greedy.
There are 48 plants plus Imitater which is can be planted on your lawn. That plant can divided into land plant, water or pool plant, and roof plant. For example, Snow Pea which shoot frozen peas that damage and slow the zombie is a land and water plant but not suitable for roof game, because cannot reach far distance. Other side, Cattail only can plant in water, but don’t worry because her attack is reaching all lawn, forward and backward, and she also shoots down balloon zombie too.
And for the zombie, there are 26 kinds, from the smallest one to giant. Gargantuar, the giant one has a terrible power but can be handled with some Squash who have massive damage, just watch out because his toughness is extremely high. Snorkel Zombie which can swim underwater only appears in the pool can be slow down by Tall-nut which has a brother Wall-nut.
In Adventure mode there are 5 levels with 10 sub-levels, include land level, water or pool level, and roof level, with rainy or fogy condition. We can have some Bowling stage to clear some boring here. In Mini Games mode there are 20 kind games. In Puzzle mode there are 20 games, include vas puzzle and games when you become zombie. And finally, Survival mode has 11 games with no end.
