What an animal lover movie! But it’s not a dog, not a cat, but a dragon. This movie have story about a friendship between Viking child named Hiccup and a mysterious Night Furry dragon named Toothless.
Hiccup is an only son of Viking leaders named Stoick the Vast, but not like as other Viking who have a big body with big mustache with strong power, Hiccup have a thin body and everybody in that Viking village though that he has no Viking power, especially to kill a dragon. In that village Berk, dragon is the only problem and though as a pest because stole a sheep. Hiccup finally just becomes apprentice in Gobber place, but secretly he still has an obsession to follow the other Viking to haunt dragon and so he will be recognize as a real Viking.
One night, Hiccup succeeds shoot one invisible dragon Night Furry with his own device, but of course there’s no one believe to what he say. Then Hiccup searching that shooted dragon in forest. When he finally finds him, he wants to kill that dragon and bring his heart to village to prove his ability. But, the reality is Hiccup heart doesn’t want to kill that dragon. And he making friend with that dragon.
But things are getting difficult for Hiccup, when he realize he doesn’t want to kill dragon, his father forced him to join the academy to get a lesson how to kill the dragon. In that school, when his friend choose axe to fight dragon, on the contrary he doing a strange thing such as stroke dragon mandible to beat that dragon.
One of his friend, Astrid, realize that Hiccup getting more strange than before. With Astrid too, Hiccup fight to convince other Viking that dragon is not like they are thinking about all this time. Would it be possible to Hiccup to change Viking presumption? Is it the friendship between Hiccup Toothless will be forever without hurting one of them?
